Tisdale: All of a sudden we have moved from fall to winter. It's not just the snow but we have the real thing, below freezing temperatures, wind chill and ice, lots of it. On Sunday it was a typical dull light rain fall day today we have clear ice cold blue skies and sun with no heat.

Paris, France: Without a doubt Paris is considered to be one of the grandest urban areas on the planet. Michael Townsend walking tour to take in the sights around the central part of the city show us the outstanding monuments and elegance that clearly shows the great pride the builders and planners of the French capital had in mind and were able to turn into a spacious and grand environment. Tisdale: It began late yesterday and by this morning the ground was covered with between four and six inches of very wet snow. The snow kept falling through out the day letting up only when darkness came but the wind which had been busy in the morning kept up its pace throughout the day blocking east west roads and making all driving very difficult.

Versailles, France: This is the third in a series of photo essays that give us the opportunity to see the sights of France. Today's adventure takes us to the fabulous palace well away from Paris where Louis XIV considered to have been an excellent monach, ruled his kingdom. Louis VVI lived at Versailles with his family until the revolution August 10 1792 they were taken from this magnificient place to prison and then the guillotine.

Tisdale: There have been some delays in the progress of this house. It is constructed on a concrete basement on the corner of Forester and Newmarket and was begun September 1. It has an interesting use of the corner lot by not making the garage a part of the house and placing it in was will be the back yard of the lot.

Tisdale: It was a truly spectacular fall this year but fall is a fleeting thing that doesn't last long as today's wind cleared away most of the remaining coloured leaves with only the shrubs still showing lots of colour. Tisdale: The Ambulance base for Tisdale and district has been on the corner immediately east of the north entrance to Tisdale Hospital. The time has come to expand the facilities to accommodate equipment and staff in a better and larger building. That new building is nearing completion and here are the pictures that show the building's development.
