|
- November in Saskatchewan
-
-
- Friday
November 24, 2006

Tisdale : Begiinning and endings, that is what November is about and perhaps we should consider why December is one of the least pleasant months of the year.

Kamloops : Today's technology and the level of skill developed by image creators is pushing the limits so that what you see is rarely what really was photographed as we journey further and further into turning photography into a true interpretive and expressive art form with the photographer able to combine images to convey a vision to the viewer.

- The saga of modern medical care
- Wednesday
November 22, 2006
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : Since the 1998 beginning of this web site we have hashed over and over the issues of health care and the form it takes in our society. Much of our problem with the system is the very nature of our democratic and freedom loving society. There are no solutions here but a good deal of troubling thoughts.
|
- Dawn Lacey, music and poetry, November 25, 3:00 at the Tisdale Library
-
-
- Tuesday
November 21, 2006
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : Music and poetry from one of Saskatchewan's folk artists. Dawn has spent the last few years in Yellowknife and tells her original stories in verse and song. She will be making a personal appearance at the Tisdale Library on Saturday but also in Melfort and Saskatoon.
|
- David Anderson's view of the CWB
-
-
- Tuesday
November 21, 2006
by : Henry Neufeld
Waldeck : The ideology not the economics or practicality of issues like the Canadian Wheat Board are hard to argue rationally. Member of parliament David Anderson sees no reason to rely on facts and figures but bases his arguments for the disbanning of the institution on simplton ideological theory. That may be politics but it will not pay the bills down on the farm. |
- The Greenwater Report
-
-
- Tuesday
November 21, 2006
by : Gerald Crawford
Greenwater Provincial Park : Craft sales and history books occupy our intrepid reporter's mind this week as he dashes from one sumptous luncheon to another all the while there is a raid in progress at the bird feeders.
|

-
-
- Thursday
November 16, 2006
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert : Though difficult to conceive we are an intellectual abstract form of life and our actions and motivation is largely shaped by the words we use. Words that form a framework for thoughts and since we depend so heavily upon communication the future of our society hangs in the balance of what we mean.

- Welcome to Winter
-
-
- Tuesday
November 14, 2006
