Tisdale : It would be nice for the sun to shine but at this time of the year we often get weeks of solid overcast and we have to learn to deal with the glum. Dealing with things is part of living and for many of us a very difficult part of our day to day experience.

Borden : Canadians have strugged with their national identity since confederation and yet we are making progress as we come to understand better and better how we are not like Americans. Oddly enough, we now have a prime minister who does not share that same view as his countrymen and instead seems hell bent on rounding up the country and heading south to embrace Yankee values.

Greenwater Provincial Park : The lake froze over November 3rd this year rough from blowing wind. Crawfords, their friends and a few bears are comfortable at the park with still a few geese waiting to go south.
