Tim's Tip of the Day |
About those treasured pictures in your album or in a shoe box somewhere. They are in danger. These school portraits taken in the late 60 are seriously faded and will soon disappear. Time to dig out the valueables go to a place that does pictures and scan them and save them to disk. Both LaCroix and Extra Foods in Tisdale do this kind of work.(Click on thumb nail to see full size. |

Forecasts and Observations / WxCam
Nav Canada has a web page with a map of Canada, on the map is a little camera for each site across the country where they have a camera pointed at the sky. In most cases in more than one direction. One of these sites is Nipawin so with this camera you can see what the sky is like over Nipawin at any time.

Victoria, British Columbia: There is a war of sorts going on in Ottawa between the House of Commons and the Prime Minister's office. Tisdale: The future may seem like a scary place but like it or not we are going there. Today we peer into the possibilities and in some cases the certainties of what the people on this planet must come to expect in the next fifty years. To know the future we only have to look at the immediate past and today to realise that the trends are almost predetermined and we better get used to what is to come. Cell phones and personal portable computing devices are not a fad.
