Tisdale: Federal elections expected in both Canada and the United States this coming year while the US economy threatens to suck under the economy of much of the world all the while politics and economics are concerned with the stuff of dinosaurs, yes, oil remains an issue to be dealt witn what ever form it takes.

Winnipeg: Luxury appears to be the "in" thing with auto makers as both Ford and GM are marketing small dressed up versions of other cars in their line under their premier logo with suitable price window stickers.

LaRonge: I had always associated the arctic grouse with the Northwest Territories or Yukon but it seems they also like Saskatchewan. These guys were on Lac LaRonge enjoying their winter vacation in the South.

Saskatoon: It seems like the Crawfords are settling in sorting out the subcultures from Foam Lake, Wynyard and many parts of northeastern Saskatchewan who now make their home in Saskatoon. But Gerald works in an ice condition and fishing report to keep us up to date on things at the park.
