: Tisdale: The continuous rain is slowing the progress on house construction but despite the rain the work is progressing with the basement for house nine finished up today. This new house sits on the site of a small dwelling that was knocked down December 1st and today McFadden's crane moved the whole rafter system of the garage into place.

: Tisdale: Though there were still some tractors pulling harrows today most were pulling seeding equipment as the dust trails from the equipment indicate conditions for seeding have hit the mark and this year's crop is going in the ground.

: Tisdale: Most farmers are in the fields. Harrowing, applying anhydrous, running their cultivator through the weeds that are taking hold but few are actually putting seed in the ground. Field conditions are improving everyday but there is a lot of water in some fields much like you would find right after the run off.
