White Rock B.C. :
The government's intent to alter the nature and selection of Senators is extremely troubling as it threatens some of basic concepts of what Canadian democracy is all about and leans very heavily upon the Republican form of government seen in the United States.

Semi-truck takes man and wheelchair for a ride

Moving across the entrance to a service station a man in a wheelchair was hit by a semi-tractor. The driver did not see the wheelchair and rolled out onto the Red Arrow highway at 50 mph.
