The Royal Bakokeng nation in South Africa is the wealthiest tribe on the continent and consists of 300,000 people who share their land income and mining resources. Most income comes from Platinum but it was their historic actions that put them in their position today. |

Tisdale: Through the years it is normal for the spring run off to exceed the capacity of the little Doghide River that flows along the east side of Tisdale. This year it is flowing along peacefully and the water is staying with in the banks of the river.

Tisdale: As we discover the reason Canada's banking sector is one of the soundest in the world is because it is not allowed free reign but is carefully controlled. Up to now countries around the world can import grain from Canada knowing it is safe but all that could change because the government wants to do away with all controls on the grain handling industry to benifit the grain companies.

Tisdale: Two geese by the highway and perhaps eight at the lagoon but its a start as the puddles expand and the snow thins on the fields and lawns. The streets in town badly need the sweeper and Heritage Road feels like it hasn't been graded in a decade, all are signs of spring.
