Tim's Tip of the Day

We are not aclimatised to temperatures in the 30º especially with humidity over 40% stay cool drink plenty of fluids and during the mid day, take a nap. A weather channel reported the temparture at Wynyard this afternoon to be 136ºC, hmmm! looks like Environment Canada is not alone in making mistakes.

Kevin's find of the day

With the amazing record breaking heat wave in Europe speculation about global warming increases. The New Ice Age.

Ensign Notes

Summer holidays: That's right, 2003 is the first year since 1991 that we have had a chance to take a holiday. During June, July and the first two weeks of August we will have some intermittant days when Ensign will not post. The heat and travel did me in and though we planned to post yesterday it just didn't happen and I only have enough energy to get the Greenwater report out tonight. Perhaps tomorrow both the weather and my motivation will improve.
