Its all about forests and trees
Tuesday
June 9, 2009
by: Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale:
When considering the problem of the "bigger picture" people sometimes say that a confused individual "can't see the forest for the trees". Its an interesting problem especially when we have both the public and their government unable to figure out what is happening and we might consider that they have to many trees in their view.

Tim's Tip of the Day

Many analysists consider the Edsel as one of Ford's biggest mistakes. In reality it was just like so many other things in the human experience. It was simply very bad timing a factor that plagues all of us and we simply have to accept it as part of life.

Isotopes a sexy issue
Tuesday
June 9, 2009
by: Dr. Phyllis Wagg
West Bay Nova Scotia:
There is the common belief that people enter public life as a way of giving back to their society. It comes as a shock to see Conservative cabinet ministers view their role as a personal thing and seem to disregard the duty they have to those who elected them and the people of the country to whom they are responsible.

We are used to seeing the odd big Jack Rabbit dashing through the neighbourhood but lately the town has had smaller and less nervous visitors.
