Honeybee Hideaway Greenhouse getting through a tough spot

Tisdale : Tisdale folks depend on the greenhouses in the area to get their yards in shape each year and this year they discoverred they were one short. The Honeybee Hideaway Greenhouse did not open for business this spring and even the house is being dismantled.

Greenwater Provincial Park : Time for elections and setting the themes for the competitive images produced each month. Awards were given out and the annual wind up outing planned.

Tisdale : It was in May of last year when a fire destroyed the restaurant and service station in the Tisdale Mall parking lot. In the fall construction began on a new building and on Wednesday the first signs went up.

Borden : Are we furthering democracy and saving ourselves from terrorist attack? Are we helping the people of the country? Are we acting on behalf of the United Nations? We need to know why Canadians are fighting an undeclared war and so far more than one quarter of the casualties have been killed by Americans.

Not 300% but 31% increase

Tisdale : There we go an error of major proportions. Yesterday I said the increase in water rates in Tisdale was a whooping 300% and I was dead wrong. Mayor Rollie Zimmer sets the record straight in a video interview about the new $4,600,000 water treatment project. (This video requires a recent version of QuickTime be installed in your computer)

Tisdale begins work on new water treatment plant

Tisdale : This better be good, with water costs to home owners going up exponentially (close to 300%) and pressure being a major dribble most of the time, Tisdale's water system is a serious irritant with home owners. On Monday, a huge undertaking began as the construction of a new treatment plant got underway. This story includes a video clip of the construction project.
