- Sunday
December 19, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale ;The Trojans have fallen on hard luck in their last six games as they have
been losing by a point a game up until last night when they were delivered a sound
defeat by the Moose Jaw Warriors in a 6 - 3 game. In this picture Kyle Caragan leads
a third period drive, one of many to even up the loop-sided score.
If we can redefne marriage, can we also redefine Christmas?

December 19, 2004
by : Ron Thornton
Edmonton : Though I am certain what Ron Thornton is describing has already
occured and we haven't realised it, he makes the point that taking age old traditions
and modifying them will reduce their value and make them less relavent.

- Sunday
December 19, 2004
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert
: Things are not going economically as one might like but certainly they are consequences
of very bad management and advise. Mario's story today gives a whole new meaning
to the term "go long".

Tim's Tip of the Day

Fighting is to hockey as dandruff is
to hair. It is an unwanted affliction and usually a sign of poor behaviour by either
coaches or the referee. |

- Saturday
December 18, 2004
by :Ttimothy W. Shire
Tisdale : Thursday
afternoon the G5 arrived and for the rest of the day and Friday it was time to transfer
data and install applications. Saturday is the first full day of operations and it
has been interesting. 8 inches wide, 18 inches deep, 21 inches tall and weighing
in at several tonnes this is the biggest computer I have ever seen but its bigness
is not physical, this thing is a weapon.

Tisdale : The
reliability of voice over IP (telephone on the Internet) has come of age with AOL's
messenger and Apple's iChat. Years ago we tried the idea out but now it is
a practical everyday means of communication and it just makes sense to move to the
next level with a dedicated web cam for that purpose.

- Bush evoking
World War II
- Tuesday
December 14, 2004
by : David Orchard
Borden : Mr.
Orchard explains the complete silliness of the American president's reference to
Mackenzie Kings statements during World War II. It make us all shudder to realise
the remarkable lack of awareness that is so much a part of the leader of the the
world's most aggressive and heavily armed nation.

- Tuesday
December 14, 2004
by : Mark Weisbrot
Washington ;
This story is one of those confirmations of what most non-Americans expected, In
fact for the past five decades this is the standard behaviour of the United States
of America, its only a surprise to its citizens.

Saturday and another will be dust tomorrow as lots are cleared to make way for new
houses in established neighbourhoods.

Power is not safe, it is not clean, it is not economical
- Thursday
December 9, 2004
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert
: Emotions run very high about this topic but we need to step back from the noise
and check the facts. The proponents of this industry gloss over the glaring and utterly
overwhelming dangers of the past, all of which avoided the ultimate disaste,r which
is not just possible, but is inevitable.
