Saturday
September 23, 2006
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert :
As a part of NATO Canada is involved in the war in Afghanistan and a war that was begun as a public relations exercise involving the 9/11 attack now it appears it is a war that can not be won militarily and we need to consider why this war and the one in Iraq were begun and why they continue.
Can Am Bowl X

Friday
September 22, 2006
by : Timothy W. Shire
Kelliher :
Though this event took place back on July 8th, this year's football season is in full gear and this international celebration of six-man football is definitely worth thinking about and worthy of praise to the organisers who have for ten years promoted the sport in the Western states and in Saskatchewan.

Thursday
September 21, 2006
by : Mario deSantis

An academic speech by the Pope sparked riots and protests throughout the Moslem world this past week. Mr. deSantis wonders at the failure of language and the failure to even make an effort to understand something of the basic concept of the "golden rule".
