In your face
- Wednesday
December 15, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : The
reliability of voice over IP (telephone on the Internet) has come of age with AOL's
messenger and Apple's iChat. Years ago we tried the idea out but now it is
a practical everyday means of communication and it just makes sense to move to the
next level with a dedicated web cam for that purpose.

programmes but in the last three decades government has decided to turn over the
agricultural industry to the massive corporations. Now they will call the shots at
$15 an acre in perpetuity.

Tim's Tip of the Day
|
If you start hearing things it is unlikely
that its the little drummer boy. Two things come to mind, you forgot to turn off
the TV or you have been playing the stereo in your car to loud. The chances of it
being a sign of mental illness are extremely remote. |

- Bush evoking
World War II
- Tuesday
December 14, 2004
by : David Orchard
Borden : Mr.
Orchard explains the complete silliness of the American president's reference to
Mackenzie Kings statements during World War II. It make us all shudder to realise
the remarkable lack of awareness that is so much a part of the leader of the the
world's most aggressive and heavily armed nation.

Cleaning
- Thursday
December 9, 2004

- Nuclear
Power is not safe, it is not clean, it is not economical
- Thursday
December 9, 2004
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert
: Emotions run very high about this topic but we need to step back from the noise
and check the facts. The proponents of this industry gloss over the glaring and utterly
overwhelming dangers of the past, all of which avoided the ultimate disaste,r which
is not just possible, but is inevitable.

Year
- Thursday
December 2, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : With
the arrival of winter the crop year of 2004 is now behind us and there is no other
course of action than to consider the prospects for the coming year. Worthless crops
remain in the fields and worthless grain in storage while even more worthless cattle
continue to eat up abundant feed that even though cheap, will not yield and a net
return.
