Tim's Tip of the Day

This morning as I sat at breakfast I noticed a fellow in another booth wearing a wrist watch set to seven and one half minutes ahead of time. Now would you trust a person who is misleading themselves? Why wear a wrist watch that did not tell the correct time? The man had more than a 10% error. You may want to mislead others now and then but never ever attempt to mislead yourself.

Kevin's find of the day

Capital Punishment. Found this interesting article and map from October of last year by Allan Evans of the Prairie centre Policy Institute. It certainly makes you think about oil and gas field development here in Saskatchewan.

Ensign Notes

There is a constant spiral of technological advancement that can not be ignored. Another hardware upgrade, bigger hard drive added and DVD burner.

House number fives sets new standard for bad engineering
Wednesday
September 22, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : The disappointment the new owners of this house must have felt as they have watched for the whole summer, their instant home, dither time away. The simple setting of a foundation and placing of a modular home has consumed the whole summer and laid waste to three residential lots to accomplish this simple project.
The Greenwater Report
Tuesday
September 21, 2004
by: Gerald Crawford
Greenwater Provincial Park : The leaves turned colour and Gerald has been keeping a close eye on this year's harvest but still has time to count the geese.
Jeffrey Simpson preventative economic solution: more money into higher education rather than health
Tuesday
September 21, 2004
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert : The worship to the god of "productivity " can lead some economists to draw conclusions and make suggestions that are simply not rooted in imperical evidence. Now that's a problem.
Must have tripped or something
Monday
September 20, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Winnipeg : Now that's something you don't see every day. Across from the Polo Park mall on Wednesday night this Toyota took a tumble. This story includes a QuickTime Panorama of the scene.

Saturday
September 11, 2004

Naicam & Prince Albert : At one time it seem that nearly every car on the road was a model "A" and there were a lot of good reasons for their enormous popularity. Today we take a look a two remarkable versions of this vintage vehicle.

W’s Vision of Ownership Society: Wrong choice, Wrong direction and Wrong leadership

Saturday
September 11, 2004
by : Mario deSantis
Prince Albert : The American public has perhaps one of the most stark choices for a democracy like theirs. The polarasation and confrontational attitude is wider and deeper than seen during my lifetime and the consequences will affect the whole world.

Spacemen south of Tisdale
Wednesday
September 8, 2004
by: Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : When I drive down the highway my mind often drifts off to the topic on the radio or to other times and places. I was more than a hundred yards by this scene before I realised that spacemen are not an every day sight along highway 35.
Labour leader takes workers on mass migration
Tuesday
September 7, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Sinai : Still some five thousand years later we know the slogan of one of the world's most amazing labour organisers; "Let my people go!" It seems like a good time, the day after labour day, to consider the achievements and failures that shape so many ways we all think about things.
The Greenwater Report
Tuesday
