- House
number fives sets new standard for bad engineering
- Wednesday
September 22, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Tisdale : The
disappointment the new owners of this house must have felt as they have watched for
the whole summer, their instant home, dither time away. The simple setting of a foundation
and placing of a modular home has consumed the whole summer and laid waste to three
residential lots to accomplish this simple project.

Tim's Tip of the Day
|
It is an odd feature of our memory and
of awareness that we want so much to glorify the past. The "good ole days"
of what ever era. This may be a natural tendency to help ourselves fathom what is
now and what is happening and how it fits into the context of our society and our
culture. |
Kevin's
find of the day
|
Capital Punishment. Found this interesting article and map
from October of last year by Allan Evans of the Prairie centre Policy Institute.
It certainly makes you think about oil and gas field development here in Saskatchewan. |

- Wednesday
September 8, 2004
by: Timothy W. Shire

- Tuesday
September 7, 2004
by : Timothy W. Shire
Sinai : Still
some five thousand years later we know the slogan of one of the world's most amazing

It seems like a good time, the day after labour day, to consider the achievements
and failures that shape so many ways we all think about things.
