Flea Market brings out the talented and the
clever- Tuesday

Tisdale : Quite
a show. Friday and Saturday Tisdale's craft show and Flea Market that has often been
in the Tisdale Mall was held this year in the RECPLex auditorium with sixty tables
showing off some both the ordinary and the unique.

 Poppy Coin- Monday

: Almost some copyright infringement, it looks like the Canadian mint has sold out
to an American owned business as it flogs coins while tredding on Canadian sentiment
for November 11. The poppy really belongs to Canada's veterans and is not something
that the mint can fiddle with for profit.

 If it makes a noise, get it fixed. A
curious lurch when turning the van around to park prompted my curiousity. When looked
over this afternoon it was discovered that the steering box mechanism had come loose. |

Outcry over English lessons The BBC carried this story this past
weekend about a  report on the
French education system recommending the compulsory teaching of English to all students.
This story has prompted examination in England and around the world about the status
of teaching languages in schools and of course here in Canada it is a touchy issue
as our schools have de-emphasised language instruction even though we know the huge
academic value and cultural importance of learning more than one language. |

anchor of the operation. Instead the mall businesses have just pulled out the stops
to make the mall shoping experience even better. Tattered Corners has added
coffee to its sales.

a half and during that time the magic of silver crystals have captured the light
and shadows of the past. In those light and shadows we can find significant evidence
of what once was and what life was like when that light was rendered onto paper,
